Creake Abbey Studios was started in 2003 and is now recognised as a centre for artistic talent in north Norfolk. Come and browse for paintings, jewellery made with semi precious stones, oriental rugs, fabulous home décor and antiques, painted furniture, objects d’art, beautiful children’s clothing, garden accessories and Provencal goodies ranging from honey and oils to tablecloths and ceramics.

From 1st January Deborah Steward of Houghton St Giles took over the running of the café. Deborah and her experienced team of event managers, chefs and waiting staff have built a reputation for offering fine foods and quality service. The café offers light lunches with daily specials, homemade cakes, soup and sandwiches, organic and fair trade tea and coffee and is fully licensed.

New Studios include Potter & Dibble, making and supplying a range of pretty and practical garden accessories and Tidal Therapies offering clients massage, facials and Nordic walking tours. Linda Black of Tidal Therapies trained at the Carlton Institute and is a member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists and Nordic Walking UK Limited. Booking essential (see Contact Us page).

Great news for pottery enthusiasts, Tel Turnbull, a traditionally apprenticed potter, working in woodfired stoneware, sculptural pieces & commemorative earthenware joined in February 2010. Inspired by the Medieval British artisan potter Tel has been involved with numerous TV/films and can be booked for events. Lessons are available on all aspects of pottery making.
